About the forties family

Hi. We are a living history group where we provide a 1940s living room for events around the country using our late 30's and 40's collection of furniture and clothes/uniforms. The children and adults carry on quietly with their daily chores and lives as if in the 1940s while the public are welcome to watch and take photos.

When you go through our photo's you will come across Jo and the working ladys who give her hand out on the wvs tent were they other free cups of tea etc for all living history groups. If you like any sort of display at a show we might be able to help out just ask what you would like as to do and we will let you now. We can do land army with pow, 40s toys displays etc. If we can not help out we can pass your details onto a group that would be able to help out .
